Hello everyone, I recently found out that the word "καθολικῆς" was already used by many Greek writers before Christ, and that it meant "universal", and also the word "ἐκκλησίας" that means "assembly", but I didn't find both words used in the same text, such as "καθολικῆς ἐκκλησίας", except in Greek texts from the ancient churches or church fathers, and came to be used as a kind of slogan. I've looked all over the Perseus online library and nothing, if anyone knows of any ancient non-religious document that uses that phrase, expressing a general assembly or something, and not the modern Roman Catholic church, please anyone, I'm grateful if you answer me. To clarify more, in the ancient city of Athens there was the Assembly of Athens, because no Greek writer ever referred to the universal assembly of Athens?, which would be the "καθολικῆς ἐκκλησίας", grateful for any answer.
