Was hoping someone could clarify for me, as I am learning on my own from a textbook. Im memorizing the case endings for nouns in first and second declension, but I am curious, since the accusitive and nominative case share certain endings such as "ov" and "a", how do I identify which is which in a sentence? Do I rely on context clues? I gather so far that word order does not strictly matter. Thanks in advance.
