KOINE GREEK VIDEO BLOG #3: λογος και ρημα: Parts of Speech (τὰ μέρη τοῦ λόγου) in Koine Greek

ἐν τούτῳ τῷ κινήματι, ἀποκρίνομαι τὸ ἐρώτημα τὸ ὑπογεγραμμένον·

τί σημαίνει ἡ λέξις ῥῆμα;

ἆρα διαφορά ἐστι τῆς λέξεως ῥῆμα καὶ τῆς λέξεως λόγος;

προσέχετε ὅτι ἀπεκρίθην τοῦτο τὸ ἐρώτημα κατὰ τὴν τέχνην καὶ οὐ κατὰ τὴν χρῆσιν τῆν κοινὴν ἐν τῇ ὁμιλίᾳ τῇ καθημερινῇ ἢ ἐν τῇ διηγήσει· ποιητέον δὲ ἄλλο κίνημα πρὸς τὸ ἀποκρίνασθαι τοῦτο τὸ ἐρώτημα·

'In this episode of the video blog, I answer the following question:

What does the word "ῥῆμα" mean?

Is there a difference between the word "ῥῆμα" and the word "λόγος"?

Note that I have answered this question from the perspective of grammatical technical terminology and not regular usage in daily conversation or in narrative. Another video ought to be made to answer that question.
